How many calories can a bowflex tread climber burn in 30 min.?

I have a tread climber but I have the cheaper version and it does not tell you how many calories you burn when you work out like the other model. Does anyone know about how many calories I am burning when I work out for 30 mins.

it really all depends on like what u set the resistance on the higher the resistance and the faster u go the more cals u burn…there’s no way to say for sure also the more u weigh the more cals u burn
on avg if u jog a 12min mile at an incline and do that for 30mins so that’s 2.5miles and u burn 300cals for an 150lb person

Would someone like to develop a daily workout plan for me?

I don’t like to run, I prefer to bike instead. I can jump rope anytime. I have a stability ball that I haven’t even used yet. I have 6 pound weights that I haven’t used either lol. I also have a step-climber and resistance bands.

What about walking?
You can start the first week with walking 30 min at a fast pace for at least 4 days, see how you feel after that, also you can alternate it with your step-climber every other day.
The weights, I think they are a bit to heavy if you are just starting, I use a 5lb weighs that I use 4 times a week.

Does anyone know if the City Climbers Club on West 59th is currently open? There was talk about it being closed down some time during the summer for renovations. Every time I try calling, all I get is their voicemail just saying they can’t get to the phone (nothing about them being closed). But I get the voicemail EVERY time.

Passiflora foetida

Description

Passiflora foetida leaves

The stems are thin, wiry and woody, covered with sticky yellow hairs. The leaves are three- to five-lobed and viscid-hairy. They give off an unpleasant odour when crushed. The flowers are white to pale cream coloured, about 5-6 cm diameter. The fruit is globose, 2-3 cm diameter, yellowish-orange to red when ripe, and has numerous black seeds embedded in the pulp; the fruit are eaten and the seeds dispersed by birds.

P. foetida is able to trap insects on its bracts, which exude a sticky substance that also contains digestive enzymes. This minimizes predation on young flowers and fruits. Whether or not it gains nourishment from its prey is uncertain, and it is currently considered a protocarnivorous plant.

This passion flower tolerates arid ground, but favours wet areas. It is known to be an invasive species in some areas.

Uses

The fruits are kumquat sized and contain a bluish-white pulp that is mildly sweet and delicately flavored. Young leaves and plant tips are edible. Dry leaves are used in tea in Vietnamese folk medicine to relieve sleeping problems.

The Benefits Of An Elliptical Machine

Ever since the elliptical machine first came on the scene, millions of them have been placed in homes and health clubs.

Recently, elliptical machines have been proven to be one of the best aerobic products.  

The elliptical machine combines the ease of the stair climber with the natural stride of a treadmill. With an elliptical

trainer, you stride in either a reverse of forward direction while you are holding on to the handrails of the machine and

standing upright.   

The elliptical machine offers a unique weight bearing workout while putting the minimum amount of stress on your joints.

There is no impact in the workout because your feet never leave the pedals of an elliptical trainer. Regardless of the level

of resistance and regardless you are going in reverse or forward, the risk of injury is reduced because you don’t overuse any

single muscle group.
