I’ve recently moved into a flat in an ‘improving’ area which still has a way to go!
I’m on the ground floor and I have a front patio area in which I store my vespa. The patio isn’t fully enclosed; it has chest high walls and an unlockable gate so to allow the dustbin men to access my wheely bin. Last night someone came into the area and broke into my bike, stealing the battery and a spare helmet I stupidly left in the underseat storage.
Can anyone give guidance on security measures that might help. I’m thinking along the lines of anti-climb paint but wonder what the law is regarding something a little more drastic (sharp stones along the wall etc – obv i’d be chaining the gate together too).
